This Sub-zone is located on the area of former sulfur mines. The industrial traditions of this region and the skilled staff with predominant chemical job experience have significantly influenced the preferences for the following activity:

• chemical processing, based on the co-operation connections with the existing chemical companies, sulfur mine, complementary for the existing production,
• wood processing, based on the resources of the local forest complexes,
• fruit- and vegetable processing, using local raw products,
• manufacturing of building materials and equipment,
• consumer goods industry,
• storage and reloading of goods.
