The Nowa Deba sub-zone is located on the area of the Zaklady Metalowe Dezamet S.A. joint-stock company in Nowa Deba. The following sectors are preferred by the strategy of diversification of the dominating branches:

• plastics processing,
• manufacturing of products for automotive industry - co-operation partners for final products,
• food manufacture,
• manufacturing of parts for electronics and telecommunication,
• metal industry,
• electrical machine industry,
• manufacturing of pharmaceutical products.

The Nowa Deba sub-zone must make use of the possibilities given by the technical traditions of this region on the one hand and the unpolluted natural environment on the other hand. The long tradition of the metal industry enables the investors to create a great number of medium-sized companies, which would co-operate with the greater firms, e.g. of the automotive branch. The branch of mechanized household equipment has also promising development perspectives in the Sub-zone (possibility of joint-venture projects) as well as - regarding the unpolluted natural environment - pharmaceutical and cosmetic industry.
